County to handle Willoughby Hills building inspections

LAKE COUNTY – The Lake County Board of Commissioners authorized a contract, on behalf of the Lake County Building Department, with the city of Willoughby Hills for the services of the Lake County Building Inspection Department.

United Way announces the 2017 Community Campaign goal

Mentor – United Way of Lake County (UWLC) overcame a deluge of water and last minute change of venue to successfully kick off their 2017 Community Campaign with a goal of $2,775,000. A blast of torrential rains at the last minute forced the change from the planned new Mentor amphitheater with as many as 300 guests to about 50 guests at UWLC headquarters, 9285 Progress Parkway, Mentor.
